Postcards from Peoria
School Project
Project Objective:
Design and produce a series of twelve greeting cards or postcards that have a unique theme.
About the Project:
This series of postcards is centered around my hometown of Peoria, Illinois. The postcards feature twelve unique locations throughout the greater Peoria area, each of which are hand drawn, digitally painted, and printed.
As someone who feels a sense of pride in my hometown, I often find myself daydreaming about the various locations presented. With this in mind, I created each image with a watercolor brush to bring about feelings of nostalgia and dreaminess.
The postcards could be sold and purchased as a full set or as individual pieces.
